46 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Psalm 46:1-3

Friends and family at Pikes Peak Park Baptist Church:

This morning in consultation with our staff and our deacons, we have reached a decision moving forward in these challenging days.

  • We will suspend all services and all gatherings until further notice.

  • The staff will still meet together, and I will have regular office hours.

  • I will, on Wednesday evenings, at 6:30 p.m., go on Facebook live (LINK HERE) from my home for our prayer time.

  • I will also preach this coming Lord's day (Sunday, 3/22/2020) at 10:30 a.m., and will also live stream that as well on Facebook and possibly other social platforms. We had more than 400 views of the message this past Sunday, when we live streamed it on Facebook for the first time!  We will also have the video of the messages available on our website Sermon Page (LINK HERE) for those that do not have Facebook.

  • The church will continue to minister to our community.  Just this morning, Ashley and Colleen put together and delivered lunches to take to the children in the apartments across the street.  This will be an ongoing daily ministry.

  • Unfortunately, even though you can’t come to church for a while, those pesky bills still do!  Thank you in advance for being faithful to send in your financial gifts through our website (LINK HERE) and choose "Online."  Tithe-ly is a great, secured program and easy to use.  You can also send your gifts by regular mail to 3725 El Morro Rd, Colorado Springs, CO, 80910.or by regular mail. I will have much more to say to you in the days ahead.

Please let me know how we can be of assistance to you in anyway. We will together keep our eyes on the Lord and trust Him every step of the way.  While we do not minimize the seriousness of these days, our hope is sure and our faith is strong!

With love, yours in Jesus!❤️
